About Us

The North Shore of Kaua‘i is where rugged beauty meets slow island living. On our five-acre family farm in Wainiha Valley, cacao grows alongside fruit trees, nourished by trade winds, river water, and tropical blossoms. This place inspires every chocolate we make.

  • Green tiny house with a porch and steps, surrounded by greenery and trees, against a cloudy sky.

In 2016, we built a small commercial kitchen on our farm in Wainiha. The kitchen is compact, but allows our chocolatiers all the space they need to create magic.

  • A cocoa pod on a tree with large leaves, set against a backdrop of palm trees, bright blue sky, and lush green garden.

Our farm is technically located on an island within an island, between the Wainiha River and the Power House Stream. It is a lush and scenic valley with fertile soil, ample water, swirling winds, and breathtaking views.

  • Husks of dried cacao pods and a plastic container filled with roasted cacao nibs on green grass.

You are presented with a bushel of fiery bright pods. You realize that these are, in fact, cacao pods, the fruit from which chocolate is made! But, how does it get from these odd fruits to that "food of the gods?"

“5 freaking stars!!! Wow, what an experience. It's good we don't live near this because we'd be there all the time! The guy inside gave great recommendations.”

“Hands down the BEST chocolate I've ever tried. The owner was kind and helpful. We tried 3 bonbons and loved all 3. The shop itself is a sweet experience.”

A day without chocolate is like Hanalei without a rainbow!
